Hello everybody,

I have been working on an application for mobile phones, I call it NetTools. It is a set of Network Tools available for your mobile device.

I would like people to download it and evaluate it. Please tell me how it ran on your phone and what you did or did not like about it. I have tested it on a small number of Sprint phones but my availability of phones is limited. It works fairly well on my Sprint Samsung VGA1000 and works well on all emulators I have run it on.

The application is 28KB and is written in MIDP 1.0/CLCD 1.0 so it will be compatible with as many phones as possible. I have tried to make it as safe and reliable as possible. The application will have to make network connections so please allow this. When you download the jar file your phone will connect to the web and I will receive an email that my app was downloaded, I am telling you this here so if you see this in the jad file it will not look like I am trying to do something strange.

You can download it by going here on your phone browser or using your regular browser if you want to use it in an emulator or download the jar and jar and transfer them to your phone on your own

I recommend you download it that way as there are scripts running on that site to make sure that there is no caching of jar or jad file. But if you need a direct link to the jad file here it is:

Without being told how the UI works was the application easy to use for you?
Was it an error free download?
Were there any errors when you ran the tools (if an http error occurs an Alert screen will be displayed, if this does happen please inform me of the message)?
Did you like the application, would you pay for it?
What was easy to use, what was difficult?
Please rate it from 1-10, with 10 being the highest.

Please try to use as many of the tools included as you can muster the patience to use.
