destroyApp() method

I notice on my Vision phone, if I hit the End key and answer "No" to the "Resume the Application" prompt, the application is terminated WITHOUT calling destroyApp(). According to the MIDP spec, the application manager should call this method. Does anyone know if this behavior is common among Vision phones (Sanyo, Samsung, etc)?
