Content-Install-Notify tag in GCD file

I implemented download mechanism using GCD files and everything looks OK. In order to receive status of the download I added Content-Install-Notify tag to the descriptor.
Apparently regardless of the result phone hits the page specified in this tag but I don't see any parameter nor header in requesit (should be something like error_code=904)
Is there a document which describes how to use this tag? Any informaion wil be helpfull.

Content-Install-Notify tag in GCD file

Content-Install-Notify simply initiates a request for a URL. I don't believe it does anything more than that.

I have used it before and passed parameters in the URL. For example, if phone number 5551212 downloads my MIDlet, I'd put something like this in the JAD: Content-Install-Notify: http://myserver.com/installed.php?phone=5551212

After installation, the phone would notify my server and a script could pick out the phone number from the URL.
