Using no JS condition to link to cell-phone version of siteI am doing a "quickie" cell-phone access to one of my websites, replacing pages that do not currently display correctly on my Sanyo Sprint cell phone. I noticed that it doesn't recognize JavaScript, so I merely put a link to the main cell-phone directory between "noscript" "/noscript" tags at the top of the site's initial frames index page. This works fine for *my* phone, and I wondered if it will work the same for all cell phones. Or perhaps it would be better placed between "noframes" "/noframes" tags since cell phones may or may eventually use JS but probably not frames? (I have a note that the site requires JavaScript and frames in case someone goes to the site from a standard computer using a browser that has JS or frames disabled.) My current domain server package doesn not support php files, btw. Also: Is there a way to show video/movie files using HTML code like the "OBJECT" "/OBJECT" tags I use for .wmv files? And, if so, will they appear on any cell phone or do different servers use different media players? And do I need to convert the file to a different format (e.g., .mov or .avi)? Thanks, Ri
